Both the Dammusi are one close to the other one in Tracino place, deep in “Ghirlanda Plain”, famous because sheltered from the wind and for the fertility of its land used for growing of caper bush and raisin wine production. These Dammusi were ancient ruins, restored respecting the original construction of these ancient dwelling place of Arab origin, used only volcanic stone and for this reason the Dammusi are fresh in summer and warm in winter. The Tracino place is close to the natural bays: Cala Levante, Tramontana, Arco dell’Elefante atc..
